As a native of Chicago with over 15 years of experience in the Music Industry, he currently serves as an A& R Consultant to Wayne Williams, the tenured Senior Vice President of A&R for Jive Records. Kevin has a heart and passion for quality music and education. In less than a year, he’s been able to accomplish the successful implementation of several key events in Atlanta which include; Writing Sessions Live with ASCAP, Record Breakers, The Premiere A&R Showcase and Live Radio. On Wednesday, July 15, 2009, The F.I.R.M. will launch its groundbreaking music festival and empower others on the importance of “Taking Ownership of Ourselves.” It will be a powerful movement focused on practical education, providing real opportunities in the music industry and helping artists reach their maximum potential. This four day launch will include; Writing Sessions: Live in the Studio, The Kick-off Party, Live Radio, a Pop/ R&B Showcase, Record Breakers, a Hip Hop/ R&B Showcase, Producer's Swap Meat, Panel Discussions, The Official F.I.R.M. Launch Party, Tweet & Eat Picnic, and The Premiere A&R Showcase. We invite you to be a part of a phenomenal event for Atlanta that will re-awaken the fire in the hearts of the music industry community.
