It provides career advancement opportunities for producers and songwriters to network with music industry professionals in an exclusive environment. This is a private monthly exposure driven event co-hosted by ASCAP. It is continually growing in attendance with 400 or more participants, some wich include No I.D. (Good Music), KP (Def Jam), Askia Fountain (Compound), Khao (R. Kelly, T.I., Pharrell) and Serge (Atlantic).

Live Radio LogoLive Radio  Live Radio is the newest event and will make its premier during The F.I.R.M. Music Fest. Live Radio’s mission is to educate and encourage commercial viability through a public record critique forum. Participants are critiqued on the commercial viability of their record from their peers, and working professionals in the Record Business. This grassroots test-marketing tool acts as an alternative outlet to help creative individuals find their voice and their sound.

Record Breakers The mission of Record Breakers is to expose and break new music in a competitive environment with tastemakers record professionals and the general public. Signed Artists compete against unsigned talent and allow the crowd to choose the best record. Some in attendance include, Atlantic Records, Q The Kid of Tag Records and Grammy award winning producer Maestro.


The Premiere A&R Showcase The Premiere A&R Showcase is designed to assist A&Rs in discovering new talent, while assisting artists in defining themselves as commodities for the purpose of career advancement. Artists also have the opportunity to gain media exposure and create a “buzz” within the music industry community. Congratulations to two of our top contestants Goldy (Universal/ Motown) and TK & Cash (DTP) who were able to secure recording contracts after gaining exposure from A&Rs at our unique showcase. Invited guests in attendance include; DTP, UGK, Motown, So Icy/Mizay Entertainment (Gucci Mane, O.J. Da Juice) SESAC, JPat Records (Usher) and Compound Entertainment, and Konvict Music.

Jive Records Senior VP of A&R Wayne Williams receives Legendary Award in Atlanta. On April 26th, 2009, Williams was presented with the LEGENDARY DJ AWARD on behalf of Core Djs. Williams has lead an indisputably successful career. Williams has been an international house DJ for 35 years, and has been in with Jive Records for 20 years.
